Royal manors
Estates and manor houses opened for an afternoon or a weekend, by arrangement in advance.
We were founded to change what private travel in Britain feels like — across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, arranged one guest at a time.
Group departures and fixed itineraries answer a question nobody asked. Our guests come from Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and further still, and each of them wants a different Britain. So every journey is built from the beginning rather than adapted from a template.
That is only possible because of who opens the door: royal manors, ancient castles, boutique wineries, five-star hotels, private yacht clubs, and the people who stage the occasions in between.
Who opens the door
We work directly with the people who hold the keys. That is what makes an itinerary possible at short notice, and what makes it worth taking at all.
Estates and manor houses opened for an afternoon or a weekend, by arrangement in advance.
Scottish and Welsh strongholds — a private tour, a dinner in the great hall, or the whole estate.
English sparkling houses in Sussex and Kent. Tastings are arranged in advance, and whether the winemaker hosts you is confirmed with the estate.
We approach hotels and private houses on your behalf, including dates the listings show as full. Rooms and dates are confirmed before you travel.
Charters on the Solent and along the west coast of Scotland.
Fixtures, openings and private dinners arranged around your interests. Access and places are confirmed in advance.
On the ground
Our operations team is local and English-speaking, and works for us rather than through a chain of subcontractors. When a flight moves at eleven at night, the person who answers already knows your itinerary.
Where we work
England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The same person handles the journey whether it begins in Mayfair or ends in the Highlands.
